Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project for Cats
in Erie County

Operation PETS is committed to saving the lives of innocent animals through prevention. We are privileged to be a Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project Partner.

www.MaddiesErieCounty.org ~ www.maddiesfund.org

The Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project in Erie County is dedicated to ending the cat overpopulation crisis in Erie County. This project is made possible by a grant from the Maddie’s Fund Pet Rescue Foundation. The Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project in Erie County is administered by Operation PETS. Eight private practice veterinary hospitals also participate (see all Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project Partners).

With this generous grant from the Maddie's Fund Pet Rescue Foundation Operation PETS is able to offer low-cost spay/neuter surgery for $10.00 to low-income cat owners that live in Erie County and receive Medicaid (see eligibility requirements).

For an additional $10.00 Operation PETS will treat your pet with Revolution (a topically applied medication that kills adult fleas and prevents flea eggs from hatching; prevents heartworm disease; treats ear mites, roundworms and hookworms). (read more about Revolution...)

All other procedures or treatments are optional and the pet owner is responsible for payment. Additional fees may be required for non-routine surgical procedures that require more involved surgery (see below).

If you bring in more than one cat on the same day a deposit is required to hold multiple surgical slots. You can make your deposit over the phone via credit/debit card, by sending us a money order, or by coming into our clinic Monday-Thursday between 10am-4pm. You will only owe the balance on the day of your appointment. If you need to cancel or re-schedule your deposit is refundable as long as you give us at least 24 hours notice.

If you meet the Maddie's Spay/Neuter Project eligibility requirements below please call us to schedule an appointment.
